About 15 of the dusty powered sites near the amenities have been revamped with Astro turf across the whole site. New power/water/sullage connections to each site. Straggly trees removed & more suitable trees planted on the boundary of the sites. Sites will look great in a few years when the trees mature. Price is now $63/night 2A ensuite. Otherwise no changes since last visit

This park has increased its price from $32/night for an ensuite site in Sep 2020 to $50/night for a dusty powered site in Oct 2023. Still a nice park but starting to get expensive. Otherwise no changes since previous reports.

This report covers a mid-week 4 day stay in February ($55.25/night 2A ensuite) and a mid week 5 day stay in May ($47/night 2A ensuite). Few changes since our last visit. Some of the sites now have new matting. It would have been much better if the sites were levelled before the matting was replaced. Night lighting around the lagoon looks good. Sullage on some water front sites run into the lagoon. Still a great dog friendly park in a pleasant location.

Another pleasant few days spent at this great dog friendly park. Price has now increased to $48.60/Night 2A ensuite including pay 3 stay 4 deal but mid week special has been discontinued. New camp kitchen now complete with adjacent jumping pillow. Park well maintained with groundsman keeping on top of fast growing grass. Matting to sites still needs work and adjacent VWall cafe closed for a few days due to Covid contacts. Great meals at good prices at the Nambucca Heads Golf club.

We took advantage of the Sunday to Friday special at $36/night 2A ensuite site. No recent changes although the camp kitchen is being rebuilt. Managers friendly & efficient. Matting on our site needed replacing & the area leveled but still a great park in a great location.

Hard to fault this park. All facilities provided in a pleasant location. Standard COVID-19 declaration required. We used to stay at this park 25 years ago (with kids) but it priced itself out of our budget. We were pleasantly surprised when we were offered a mid week ensuite site special for $32/night. We are sure to return if these prices are offered again.

Liked:- Dog friendly. Great value. Pleasant riverside walks.
Disliked:- Poor TV reception. Pay in full before arrival (may have been part of the special)
Added Touches:- V Wall cafe has great fish & chips (closes at 3pm)
Road Conditions:- When leaving Nambucca Heads & heading south, you first need to head north for 5km towards the BP truckstop interchange to pickup the M1 highway. If not, you will go thru Macksville via the old highway.
